BIZ offers a wide variety of classroom programs for individuals seeking to develop skills in areas as diverse as manufacturing, leadership, technology, healthcare, and more. Professional development workshops are held at our three convenient campus locations in Dryden, Cortland and Ithaca. Directions for each of our locations are available. Online Professional Development
Busy Schedule? BIZ offers a variety of online courses for your professional development, meeting your schedule needs. In the online classroom, you will listen to audio lectures, view slides, and take an optional quiz to test yourself. You will participate in discussion and questions and post written comments in an online discussion with your fellow participants and the instructor. Classes are four weeks long, with a new module each week.
Online Career Track Programming
Are you looking to start a new career or gain skills to advance in your existing one? You've come to the right place! You can start our career training programs anytime and work at a pace that suits your individual style. You'll have access to all the lessons and assignments from day one, and many of these programs can be completed in less than six months. Upon completing your program with a passing score, you'll get a certificate of completion from your learning institution.
BIZ offers non-credit certificate programs that prepare you to work in the healthcare field. You gain the necessary medical knowledge and practical skills through lecture, hands-on labs, and externship opportunities. Our programs also prepare you to sit for professional certification exams, should you choose to do so. Professional certification is not required to work in the healthcare field, but do prove competency and could help with career advancement.

Register online. You will receive registration and payment confirmation once your registration and payment has been processed.
Register by phone with MasterCard, Discover, or Visa to reserve your seat in the workshop(s) of your choice. You will receive your registration confirmation once your registration/payment has been processed. Please have all the information requested on the mail-in form when calling
Register by fax with MasterCard, Discover, Visa or purchase order number using the registration form.
Complete the registration form and send it to the mailing address below. Please use a separate form for each person registering.
All registration forms and payments should arrive at our office at least one week prior to the start of the earliest workshop for which you registered. Please call 607.844.6586 for late registrations.
Checks should be made payable to Tompkins Cortland Community College and should be received one week piror to workshop start date. A fee of $25 will be charged for all returned checks.

For weather related cancellations, please listen to your local radio station on the morning or evening of the workshop, or check the college home page at www.tompkinscortland.edu.
You will be contacted if the workshop you registered for is cancelled for other reasons, or it is full.
Fees and Refunds
Payments must be made to ensure your seat. Fees for each workshop cover the cost of the workshop and materials, except as noted.
Refunds will be made only if requested in writing seven working days before the start of the program.
If you are not 100% satisfied, call us and we will work with you to ensure your satisfaction with another program or refund.
