What are flexible dollars?
Flexible dollars are monies available for food items not included in the defined meal plan. They can be used at any interval during the semester as opposed to a week by week basis. Fall flex dollars will expire at the end of the fall semester if you are not enrolled in a spring meal plan; otherwise they will roll forward into the spring semester. However, any flex dollars remaining at the end of the spring semester will expire at the end of the spring semester.
Where do I get my meals?
Meal plan meals can only be purchased in the TC3 Eatery. However, Flexible dollars may be used in both the TC3 Eatery and the Fireside Café.
If I am a Vegan what can I eat?
As in all the meal plans you can select one A, B, C item. Some of our vegan options are:
- Bagel with peanut butter, oatmeal, bowl of cold cereal, muffin
- Deli sandwich, 16 oz salad from The Produce Stand, Showtime entrée, 3 accompaniments, bocca burger, portobello mushroom sandwich, hot veggie wrap, vegetable panini, and some of our daily entrée specials.
What will be on the deli for vegan options?
- The deli includes marinated summer squash, home-made hummus, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato, black olives, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, and roasted red peppers.
- All breads are vegan along with oil & vinegar for condiments.
What happens if I don’t use the number of meals per week that are in my plan?
You will lose any unused meals at the end of each week. Refer to the Meal Plan Calendar.
Can I use more than one meal during a single period?
No. You may only use one meal per breakfast, lunch or dinner period. Refer to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours.
How do I sign up for a meal plan?
If you live in campus housing, you will automatically be enrolled in and charged for the 12 meals-per-week plan. Commuters should contact the Enrollment Services Center, Room 101 or by phone at 607-844-6580. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org or submit the Commuter Meal Plan Enrollment Form, to the Enrollment Services Center, Room 101 or fax 607-844-6541.
May I increase or decrease my meal plan?
Students in campus housing may not decrease below the 12 meals per week plan. Submit your Meal Plan Change Form to the Enrollment Services Center, Room 101 or fax 607-844-6541.
When does my meal plan begin?
Meal plans will be available beginning on your first day of Orientation.
What are my payment options?
Payment options include: Cash, check, credit card, money order, FACTS payment plan and available financial aid. Available financial aid is the credit balance after your anticipated aid has been applied to tuition, fees and campus housing. Please keep in mind that financial aid used toward your meal plan competes with the amount of available financial aid that can be used for book deferrals.
May I use financial aid to pay for my meal plan?

Is the number of meals per week adjusted when there are college holidays?
Yes, semester meal plans are prorated on a weekly basis based on the college calendar.
