The College will welcome "A Weekend of Stars in Ithaca" to campus Saturday morning, featuring distinguished black athletes, humanitarians and artists including James "Buster" Douglas, Joseph Ponder, Granville Waiters, Angela Mitchell-Koster, Larry Jones, and more. Each of these celebrities has overcome their own significant personal challenges and hurdles to become accomplished in their respective fields.
As part of a two-day stop in Ithaca, the stars will come to campus to visit with Tompkins Cortland students and discuss the power of believing and achieving.
