Course Reserves

Course Reserves, kept at the Library Service Desk, contains textbooks and other assigned materials for students to use within the Baker Commons for up to two hours at a time.

To see if your materials are already on Reserve, search Textbooks/Reserves in OneSearch.  You can search by title, author, keywords, or by course number (ANTH202, for example, no spaces), or instructor name.

To have items placed on reserve, whether we own them already or not, contact or Lucy Yang, Coordinator of Information Delivery Services (607.844.8222, Ext. 4361). A printable form is also available (.doc).  If you are bringing your own copy of a book or DVD for the library to have on Reserve, we will attempt to purchase our own copy.

You can also link directly to the articles, ebooks, ejournals and streaming videos that are available online through the Library's databases.  Ask a Librarian to help you get the correct links to share.

To request a video to show in the classroom or to have available in your Web course (that can be shared for up to four weeks), complete the Faculty Media Request Form.
