Campus Police Swearing In Ceremony

Four campus police officers taking the oath of office

On Wednesday, July 18 four new Campus Police officers were sworn into service at a special ceremony in the Fireside Lounge with College President Orinthia Montague, Ph.D., presiding. Officers Cornelius Davis, Mikel Fazzary, Kevin Noterfonzo, and Katelyn Wood each took the oath of office and were officially sworn in as members of the Tompkins Cortland Community College Campus Police. John Gebo was also recognized for a recent promotion from Sergeant to Assistant Director of Campus Police. Campus Police Director Beau Saul told attendees he was proud not only of the officers’ commitment to service, but also of the instances of empathy, kindness, and genuine caring for students those officers display in ways that go largely unrecognized. Tompkins Cortland Community Campus Police serve the main campus and residence buildings, providing 24/7 coverage.
