Men's Soccer Places Two on All-Conference Team

Men's Soccer Players

Two members of the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team have been voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference team. Freshmen Hugo Sauriat (New York City/Frank McCourt H.S.) and Noah McPherson (Hartford, Conn./Bulkeley H.S.) were among the 20 players voted to the team by the coaches of the seven MSAC programs. SUNY Broome had the most selections with six players, followed by conference champion Cayuga Community College with five.

Sauriat was Tompkins Cortland’s leading scorer, finishing with 23 points on 11 goals and 1 assist. He had the game-winning goal in three of the team’s five wins.

McPherson was the second leading scorer with nine points on two goals and team-high five assists. He had one game-winner.

With the selection of Sauriat and McPherson Tompkins Cortland has had multiple all-MSAC selections every season since 1996.
