Three Panthers Named All-Conference for Women's Soccer

Women's Soccer Players

Three Tompkins Cortland Community College players have been voted the Mid-State Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer all-conference team. Sophomore Sage Garrison (Odessa/Odessa-Montour H.S.) and freshmen Paris Good (Syracuse/Ithaca H.S.) and Shannon DeRosa (Poughquag/Arlington H.S.) were among the 21 players named to the team from the seven MSAC teams. SUNY Broome had six selections with conference champion Onondaga Community College next with five selections.

Garrison was a team captain and started all 13 games at center midfield. She tied for the team lead in assists with four.

Good also started all 13 games. She tied Garrison for the team lead in assists and added four goals for a total of 12 points, the second most on the team.

DeRosa was the team’s leading scorer while playing in ten games. She scored seven goals and assisted on two others, giving her a role in exactly half the team’s goals this season.

This marks the fifth straight year the Panthers have had three players selected all-conference. Tompkins Cortland has had at least three all-conference selections every year since 2005.
