Opportunity to Provide Third-Party Comments for TC3's Middle States Accreditation Review

August 17, 2026

Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) is currently conducting its self-study as part of the reaffirmation of accreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The self-study is a comprehensive review of the College's mission, effectiveness, student success efforts, and institutional performance against MSCHE's Standards for Accreditation. TC3 is scheduled to host a team of peer evaluators for its on-site accreditation review November 8-11, 2026.

As part of the accreditation process, MSCHE invites students, employees, alumni, and members of the public to submit third-party comments regarding the College's compliance with MSCHE's Standards for Accreditation, Requirements of Affiliation, and institutional policies. The Commission considers such comments as one component of its review process.

Individuals interested in providing comments should submit them directly to MSCHE using the Commission's official Third-Party Comments process. Comments must be submitted by September 8, 2026.
