Career Coach helps explore career interests and find the degree program at Tompkins Cortland Community College that fits. Find job openings, average salaries, predictions for future job growth, and more – and link back to degree programs. Career Coach, which uses an array of databases to present up-to-date information, can be used to find careers in a chosen degree field, or to find a degree program and transfer path that will get student on track to succeed in a career that matters to them.
CareerTrack is an online career network for Tompkins Cortland students, powered by Purple Briefcase. Students can sign in and visit [My Links] and [My Channels] for helpful websites and videos to explore and prepare for careers.
Career Search Classes
PSED 160 “Career Exploration” is designed to help students who are undecided about their career path or curriculum choice, this course focuses on self-assessment, inclusive of work values, identification of prominent abilities, and examination of interests. 1 Cr. (1 Lec.) 7 weeks Fall/Spring

The Peer Career Coaches are trained students who will assist in the process of exploring and identifying career goals; creating a professional self; and developing a resume; as well as helping with job-search strategies.
