For All New and Transfer Students
Fall 2019 Orientation and Welcome Week activities will begin just before classes start.
If you have questions about moving in to the dorms, call or email the Residence Life Office at 607.844.6589 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will be also be New Student Orientation for all new, transfer, and reinstated students (commuters, adults, and residents).
Remember, the Academic Calendar contains important dates for the semester, including deadlines.

Parents, Spouses, and other Family Supporters or Sponsors
In addition to activities for students there are programs for parents, spouses, and other sponsors.
Orientation and Welcome Week Schedule
Orientation information and a schedule of events will be available at Orientation Check-In.
Fall 2019 schedule will be posted here and emailed to incoming students.
All students will receive a final schedule with detailed information including session locations at check-in.
New Resident Students living on campus will be contacted closer to move-in days. After hours move-in requires students to contact the RA - Residence Assistant- on duty. Students may also move in the morning before Orientation begins. Resident students have required Orientation activities.
Orientation check-in takes place on the Tompkins Cortland main campus in Dryden.
Many College offices have extended open hours during Orientation and Welcome Week so students can take care of everything they need prior to the start of classes.
