Orientation Schedule

For All New and Transfer Students

Orientation is required for all new and transfer students. Students living on campus are required to attend BOTH Monday and Tuesday Orientation activities. Commuters only attend Tuesday Orientation activities. 

Spring classes begin Wednesday, Jan. 22, and Welcome Week activities will continue through the first full week of classes.

ALL New Student Orientation: Tuesday, January 21 | 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Orientation activities will include sessions for commuter students, adult students, and students living on campus. All orientation activities will take place on the main campus in Dryden.

Move-In Day for Resident Students

Resident Student Move In: Monday, Jan. 20 | 9 a.m.  3 p.m.
Students may move in between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All new resident students MUST move in Sunday, August 25. If you have questions about moving into the residence halls, call or email the Residence Life Office at 607.844.6589 or residentiallife@tompkinscortland.edu.

Family Coffee Hours: Monday, January 20 | 10 a.m. or 3 p.m.

Family members are welcome to meet some of our College staff for a coffee hour. This is an excellent opportunity to make some connections and have your questions answered.

New Resident Student Meeting: Monday, January 20 | 3 p.m.
Student Center
New Resident Students are required to attend a meeting with Residential Life Staff to learn about policies, get to know peers, and ask questions about living on campus.
