Spring 2019 Orientation and Welcome Week activities will begin Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Due to the expected weather, Tompkins Cortland will be closed on Sunday and Monday, January 20 - 21. New Resident students may move in early on Friday or Saturday, January 18 - 19 if they call or email the Residence Life Office at 607.844.6589 or email@example.com.
January 22 | New Student Orientation for all new, transfer, and reinstated students (commuters, adults, and residents):
Spring 2019 courses begin on Wednesday, January 23. The Academic Calendar contains important dates for the semester, including deadlines.

Orientation and Welcome Week Schedule
Orientation information and a schedule of events will be available at Orientation Check-In on January 22 and was emailed to all new spring students who were registered by January 17, 2019.
Please note that the schedule below is tentative and all students will receive a final schedule with detailed information including session locations at check-in.
New Resident Students living on campus may move in to the Residence Halls on Friday or Saturday, January 19 - 20, between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. After hours move - in requires students to contact the RA on duty. Students may also move in Tuesday morning, January 22 before Orientation begins. Resident students have required Orientation activities to attend on Tuesday, January 22.
Orientation check-in will take place on Tuesday, January 22 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the Forum (Room 163) on the Tompkins Cortland main campus in Dryden.
Many College offices have extended open hours during Orientation and Welcome Week so students can take care of everything they need prior to the start of classes.
The following schedule is subject to change. Students will receive the final orientation schedule when they check in. Attendance at events marked with * required for new students living in the Tompkins Cortland residence halls.
