Kevin Caveney, purchasing agent, is the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for November.

Caveney was cited as an exceptional professional whose dedication, integrity, and expertise make him an invaluable part of the College. Colleagues praise his support of departments across campus, and his guiding complex purchasing processes with precision, organization, and care.

Over the past two years, he has played a crucial role in the SUNY Transformation Grant, helping to create three new laboratory spaces on campus. Supporters say that is a testament to his tireless work ethic and commitment to excellence. Whether managing multimillion-dollar capital projects or navigating detailed purchasing regulations, he ensures every process runs smoothly and compliantly.

The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.

As the Employee of the Month, Caveney receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
