– Leah Calzolaio, student success advisor, has been named the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for June 2026. 

Calzolaio consistently goes above and beyond in support of students, faculty, and staff. She approaches every interaction with compassion, patience, and kindness, creating a positive and supportive environment for those around her.

Nominators noted that Calzolaio is unwavering in her commitment to student success and her ability to lead with care and confidence through periods of transition while maintaining excellence in all that she does. Her dedication, leadership, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable resource while strengthening our campus community.

The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.

As the Employee of the Month, Calzolaio receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
