New Agreement Between TC3 and Alfred University
Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) and Alfred University have announced a new transfer agreement that will provide TC3 graduates a direct transfer pathway into bachelor’s degree programs in Alfred University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The agreement was signed by TC3 President Amy Kremenek and Alfred University President Mark Zupan at a ceremony on the Dryden campus.
“We are excited for the opportunity this new agreement provides for students in our newest academic program, Health Sciences, which has already become one of our top-enrolled programs,” said President Kremenek. "TC3 graduates will have a seamless transition into Alfred University, where they will be able to pursue their bachelor’s degree at one of the premier institutions in our region. I am grateful for the work done at both institutions to create this agreement and provide this opportunity to our graduates.”
The agreement guarantees graduates of TC3’s Health Sciences program with a GPA of 2.0 or better admission into Alfred University’s Sports and Health Sciences program. The Sports and Health Sciences program at Alfred University is designed to prepare students for diverse healthcare careers or advanced study in related fields.
“We are proud to partner with Tompkins Cortland Community College to create new pathways for student success in the growing field of health sciences,” said President Zupan. “This agreement reflects our shared commitment to expanding access and preparing students for meaningful careers in healthcare and wellness. We look forward to welcoming TC3 graduates to Alfred University and supporting them as they continue their academic and professional journeys."
