Cheyenne Gorton

Director

Cheyenne is originally from Lansing, New York. She brings an array of experience in campus activities and campus life. She is most passionate about leadership development, which is why she loves advising the Student Government Association and the National Society of Leadership and Success at Tompkins Cortland. Cheyenne is a graduate of Tompkins Cortland, Niagara University, and Binghamton University, earning associate and bachelor's degrees in Hospitality and a master's degree in Student Affairs Administration.

Leah Tompkins

Assistant Director

Leah is originally from Niagara Falls, New York. She is a graduate of Binghamton University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration. She has experience in Student Life, Student Transition and Success, Residence Life, and Career Services. Leah comes to Tompkins Cortland with a passion for community building, student engagement, and student leadership development. She is so excited to work with clubs and organizations and co-advise the National Society of Student Leadership and Success.

Student Leadership Assistants (SLA)

The Student Leadership Assistants are a team of students that assist with the development and implementation of programs and services offered in the Student Center. SLA's staff the Student Activities Office, campus events, and serve as points of contact for students looking to get involved.
