Jasmine LaMontain, associate professor and coordinator of laboratory technologies, has been named the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for May 2026. 

LaMontain was praised for always making time for everyone, even though she is consistently pulled in many directions. She connects with students, making everyone at ease while building strong relationships. Nominators cited her true dedication to students and the College, calling her a role model for both students and colleagues alike.

The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.

As the Employee of the Month, LaMontain receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
