Several TC3 students had the experience of a lifetime, taking part in a study abroad trip to Costa Rica. Fourteen students just returned from nearly two weeks in the Central American nation, the culmination of a semester of studying and preparation for the trip.

Students enrolled in Tropical Field Natural history (BIOL 116) and Fieldwork in Cultural Anthropology (ANTH 270) and met during the spring semester before traveling to Costa Rica in May. Biology Professor Kelly Wessell led the classes and the trip, partnering with educators in Costa Rica to provide students an amazing educational and cultural experience.
