Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) and Family Health Network of Central New York, Inc. (FHN) have announced a new partnership that will bring FHN’s mobile medical unit to the TC3 campus in Dryden, providing on-site healthcare services for the campus and surrounding community. The services will be available to TC3 students and staff, as well as anyone from the community. The agreement was signed by TC3 President Amy Kremenek and FHN Chief Executive Officer Kim Osborne at a ceremony on the Dryden campus. 

“As educators, we are familiar with the challenges our students face, and for many, access to convenient and affordable health care is a significant concern for themselves and their families,” said President Kremenek. “That’s why TC3's partnership with Family Health Network is so critical. Having the FHN Mobile Medical Unit on campus on a regular schedule to provide primary health care services addresses a real need among our students so that they can focus on their education knowing their health care is addressed. Also, by making the services available to faculty, staff, and the entire community, this will be an extremely valuable asset for Dryden and the broader community we serve.”

The Mobile Medical Unit provides a wide range of primary care services, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, routine physical exams, preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, laboratory services such as bloodwork, management of ongoing health conditions, medication management, and referrals to specialty care when needed. 

“This agreement with TC3 enables us to further our mission of providing accessible, patient-centered healthcare to everyone in our communities,” said FHN CEO Kim Osborne. “Our Mobile Medical Unit allows us to bring our high-quality healthcare directly to areas where access may be limited. Through regular visits to TC3, we’re able to provide the Dryden community with dependable, convenient access to the care they need, close to home."

The FHN Mobile Medical Unit will be on the TC3 campus on Wednesdays, starting August 26. The unit will be in parking lot 5 (outside of the athletics facility). Appointments can be scheduled at tc3.edu/fhn.
