Students who transfer to Oswego after completing SUNY General Education (SUNY-GER, July 2010 SUNY GE, Fall 2023) or the equivalent at a previous institution (or institutions) are exempt from all of Oswego's specific general education requirements.
Bachelor's degree graduation requirements
- 120-128 credits, depending on major
- Minimum of 30 credits and ½ the major completed at Oswego
- 42 upper division credits (300-400 level courses)
- no more than 54 hours in any one discipline can count towards a BA degree
