Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) and Hartwick College have agreed on a new transfer partnership that will provide TC3 graduates a direct transfer pathway into bachelor’s degree programs at Hartwick. The new agreement, which applies to students majoring in either business administration or sport management, was signed by TC3 President Amy Kremenek and Hartwick President Laurel Bongiorno at a ceremony on the Dryden campus.

“TC3 students can rely on our commitment to high-quality transfer and career outcomes for our graduates. With new transfer agreements in Sport Management and Business Administration with Hartwick College, TC3 students can transfer and earn their baccalaureate degree from an institution that shares this commitment,” said TC3 President Kremenek. “Hartwick has a well-established history in our region and state with a strong alumni network, and we are proud to partner in support of degree pathways that lead to high-quality, in-demand careers."

The agreement guarantees TC3 students who graduate with a GPA of 2.0 or better in business administration or sport management can transfer directly into the parallel bachelor’s degree programs at Hartwick. The agreement also makes TC3 graduates eligible for a guaranteed scholarship of at least $10,000. 

“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Tompkins Cortland Community College and make it easier for students to continue their education at Hartwick,” said Hartwick President Bongiorno. “This agreement recognizes the work students have already completed while providing a clear path to a bachelor’s degree and the high-quality academic experience Hartwick offers.”
