Broaden your perspective on global cultures, politics, and economies. Through interdisciplinary coursework, you’ll examine how nations and people interact and how global challenges shape our world. You’ll gain the analytical and communication skills needed for careers in government, education, nonprofits, or international relations—and to thrive in a globally connected society.
Where You’ll Go
Secondary School Teachers
- Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects, such as English, mathematics, or social studies.
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
Travel Guides
- Arrange for tour or expedition details such as accommodations, transportation, equipment, and the availability of medical personnel.
- Plan tour itineraries, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites.
- Resolve any problems with itineraries, service, or accommodations.
- Attend to special needs of tour participants.
