You’ll study marketing, branding, and event management while gaining hands-on experience in wine sales and promotion. As the local and state wine industries continue to grow, you’ll be prepared for careers in tasting room management, tourism, and wine marketing both regionally and beyond.
Where You’ll Go
Food Service Managers
- Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies.
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
- Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.
- Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
Travel Guides
- Arrange for tour or expedition details such as accommodations, transportation, equipment, and the availability of medical personnel.
- Plan tour itineraries, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites.
- Resolve any problems with itineraries, service, or accommodations.
- Attend to special needs of tour participants.
