Tompkins Cortland Welcomes Visit by SUNY Chancellor Malatras

Tompkins Cortland Community College welcomed State University of New York Chancellor Jim Malatras for a campus visit on Sunday, the day before the College resumes in-person classes after a temporary move to remote learning caused by COVID cases.

  • Tompkins Cortland Community College began Fall 2020 semester classes on Monday, August 31, offering both in-person and online classes, as well as some courses that will combine both in-person and online meetings.

    The Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation, based in Owego, has awarded Tompkins Cortland Community College a $15,000 grant to provide financial assistance to Tioga County residents during the 2020-21 academic year.

    Tompkins Cortland Community College Professor David Flaten has won a Fulbright Award. The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board have announced that Flaten has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Colombia.
