My Life on One Page: Resume Lab

A resume isn’t just a list of jobs, it’s a one-page novel, and you’re the main character.  Whether you’re new to resume-building or want to make refinements, come to the room 215B computer lab to construct a narrative that best showcases your skills and experiences.  We’ll be there to help you work on it and discuss the role of cover letters and how you can use them to further tell your story. Open to students and the community.

Um, Hello? How to Chat with Employers at Events

404 Error: Words Not Found. But seriously, words are hard, and trying to find the right thing to say can be intimidating, especially when socializing with people you want to hire you. Join us to learn how to chat with employers with confidence, while enjoying mocktails and appetizers. Open to students and the community.

Sponsored by the Cayuga Radio Group, the oven Fresh Job Fair features more than 30 regional employers in all industries who are actively recruiting! Stop by to chat with reps about open opportunities, connect with employers, grow your network, and apply for open positions. Representatives from county Workforce Development Career Centers will be onsite to support participants in their search. Snacks and prizes at the door! Open to students and the community.
