Join us on campus as we show that we Stand Up for Recovery.

Stand Up for Recovery Day is an annual day of advocacy when recovery advocates from all around the state gather in Albany to celebrate the power and promise of recovery from addiction, while educating decision-makers and the general public about the Recovery Movement. As partners of Youth Voices Matter, one of the organizers of Stand Up for Recovery Day, the Tompkins Cortland Collegiate Recovery Program is inviting everyone to show our support and that we Stand Up for Recovery!

This year is the 14th Annual Stand Up for Recovery Day and the College community is invited to wear purple in recognition of recovery from substance use. The Collegiate Recovery Program will have a table with information at the top of the main entrance staircase from 9 a.m. to noon and will be handing out stickers and ribbon pins all over campus.

The local celebration of Stand Up for Recovery Day is part of the TC Collegiate Recovery Program's continuing efforts to educate, reduce stigma, and promote harm reduction in our community, as well as advocate on behalf of people who are struggling with problematic substance use.
