PTK All-New York Academic Award Winner Jennifer Willis and Tompkins Cortland Provost and Administrator in Charge Paul Reifenheiser

Tompkins Cortland Community College students Christopher Merchant and Jennifer Willis have been honored by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community colleges. Merchant and Willis were named recipients of the Phi Theta Kappa All-New York Academic Award, an honor bestowed on a small percentage of members of the international honor society. All the statewide winners were recognized at a ceremony at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse earlier this month.

Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in higher education, with nearly 1,3000 chapters on college campuses in all fifty states and nine sovereign nations. Members of the All-New York Academic Team were recognized for academic achievements, leadership accomplishments, and engagement in community service.
